technically lsu athletics controls the parking on campus on gameday and lsu has 100% authority to shut it down via the Louisiana State Police if the situation is deemed unsafe. this season is going to be a shite show of a season but maybe, just maybe we get to enjoy some football. 2021 will be back to regularly scheduled programming.

A month ago I was optimistic we’d find a way for fans. Now.... not so much. I’ve accepted it and will watch on the patio.

Is bama a big game? Corners of both upper decks had plenty of seats and there were open seats on my row. So I don't know. I'm not saying there werent a shite load of people in the stadium, it just wasn't 100% asses in seats.

Broussard said the school does not keep a record of actual attendance, something different than its paid and announced attendance numbers.

The Advocate article on attendance

Wonder why they don't keep track of actual attendance? cause the stadium isn't 100%

quote:

When you factor in season ticket holders, fair-weather fans, students, scalpers or any other reason why someone would pay for a ticket and then not go, the “announced attendance” figure is almost always higher than actual attendance at the gate.

Actual attendance isn’t something of which LSU keeps track. LSU used to track those numbers, though, before the 2014 renovations.

I have heard 50% capacity.

Nothing on tailgating, but that will probably be a wait and see over the next 5-6 weeks.

Also, no tailgating. Dont shoot the messenger. Sorry guys, this is according to Matt Thomas. Downvote away, I'm just as disappointed.

Woodward and JBE discussed this and JBE said absolutely no tailgating. Woodward responded, I'll let you try to police that. Good luck Mr. Boucher!

Maybe the BLM/Antifa supporters will buy the tickets and give donations.

So what if 100,000 people go tailgate? They gonna write tickets to everyone?

These are the facts:

1. 99.8% who test positive in the USA recover with no problems and most have no symptoms;

2. No college or professional athlete in the USA has died from Coronavirus;

3. No one under 21 years old in the USA has died from Coronavirus;

4. High risk group are people over 75 years old with serious existing health issues and this group should take all proper precautions;

5. Around 40,000 to 60,000 people die in the USA from the common flu every year.

Wake up people! Open up our country! Stop living in fear!

Fauci said we should all be wearing goggles now. Of course he won’t start wearing them until we do.

But JBE won't let them in. The voters have until September 26th to complete a recall.

I don’t they would have to skip rows. Just alternate seats.

So for example in row 1 available seats are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 etc
In row 2 availabale seats are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, etc

Or maybe do every 3 seats since they give you like 18 inches per seat

We are season ticket holders and have all already caught Covid-19, so what reason is there that I can't go?
