The interior of our oline is completely trash and was getting manhandled all night.

Why would you put the game in the hands of literally the worst talent on your team?

Everyone is acting like the 1 yard is automatic. I think we get blown up on that play.

True. UK made the offense one dimensional and there was never an effort to establish the run. Even though they struggled, I think the run game would have improved as the game progressed allowing the offense to control the game at the end. But, you are correct the IOL is shite.

Either call would’ve been fine. And yeah our OL sucks and our D had only given up a FG until that point. I would’ve done the same.

I wasn’t so much against the decision to punt as I was surprised by it. Didn’t seem like Kiffin.

Sounds like a coaching problem to me. There ain’t a player on that team the coaches didn’t pick. If they’re trash as you say, that’s on the coaches.

It’s 100% coaching. Other teams have to deal with the portal and every other element we do with half the resources.

I think the biggest issue is discipline really. The players adopt the coaches pauses faire attitude perhaps?

Yes. The refs jobbed us but they didn’t make Princewill throw a punch to extend a Kentucky drive. That was a legit call. So were the other calls in the opening 2 series. And if you realize the refs aren’t going to call it fair (it happens and everyone knows it), why help them out?

Example: Baker called a perfect play even if it was a run sellout. He didn’t make Cooley just completely go retard and miss his hole assignment on the opening run by Baxter that led to a TD.

Baker didn’t make the players on the perimeter miss 10 or so tackles ALTHOUGH that could be coaching.

Either way. The players failed just as much as the coaches did.

I do agree with everyone. Knowing the above I NEVER would have put that game on the defense with that much time left with those refs and as undisciplined we had played. Show some balls and go for it on the road.

13 million for a coach. Don’t GAF if it’s “1st year”. When he wins something of consequence in his career, then pay him.

We should have gone for it then and in OT. I know people don’t agree with that. But when the defense is not playing good and you have an explosive offense, you rely on the offense. Take it out of the defense’s hands. I think you’re going to start seeing more and more people going for two in overtime.

They picked from a pool of available players. Not a pool of available All Americans.

No way they stop an under center QB sneak. Put Deuce for the push from behind. NO WAY

We have one of the best offenses in the country. Based on the numbers. Lane started playing too conservative last night and that’s not like him.
