People bitching about the offense all over this board and not a damn one of them seem to realize we had 4 fricking TO’s in one half! That is not bad offense. It is bad ball security that killed the drives and gave ip a TD.

I think the makeup of this team sets us up for a run. We haven’t had defense like this since 2011. Similar offensive issues Leavitt = Lee but with legs - but with Kiffin the offense should settle in.

I really hope the offense does settle in. After the Clemson game, I told my budddy that Leavit thinks his arm is way better than it really is. Kinda looks like a poor man’s Brett Favre. Flat footed throws, just slinging it with his arm and backpedaling throws. That’s all fixable but that was his knock when he came…..not very accurate. He kinda got exposed some tonight. His athleticism does make up for some of his deficiencies though. I have faith that Lane can put that train on the right track. Next week will be interesting.

There isn't a single team in the top 10 who looks dominant. LSU will get better. We have an entire new personnel staff on offense. It takes time for chemistry to come together. Defense is way ahead and look elite. Offense has the potential to be elite. Leavitt has exactly 1 month of practice and didn't play football before Clemson since last October. He's going to take time. Revisit at the end of the year and see if anyone wants to play LSU.
