LSU lost the game with field position and ball control. Two things Les was great at. He lacked in time management and the passing game. Les probably wins this game today

At home they at least matched the physicality. On the road was usually a different story

Considering he won a natty, played for another, is LSU’s all time winningest coach, and consistently put up 10-11 win seasons, while playing for major bowls and always having LSU in the hunt? Yes of course he was. Miles was a fossil towards the end stuck in his ways, but his teams took no shite, and they had a “frick you attituide” of we’re gonna whoop your arse every play. Dawgs everywhere. That’s gone.

How the frick is that relevant right now?

He was much better at fielding hard nosed physical football teams and generally had excellent special teams play. But his teams also were frequently penalized and played down to their competition. Too early to say at this point but special teams and physicality were light years better

Because he never got credit from Day 1 and people were always calling for his head, despite his success. Sans 2019, are we happy with what we’ve gotten since giving the fans what they wanted and canning Les?

Once again, how is Les Miles, who coached at LSU 11 years ago and is currently a fricking vegetable, relevant to the 2026 LSU football team?
