The biggest issue I see facing LSU is the lack of physicality and toughness.

Les Miles was stubborn and frustrated us however his teams were tough and opponents knew they were going to be in a war when playing LSU. Kirby has a similar mentality and always fields teams that are tough.
That physical toughness also produces mental toughness and we are a soft team across the board.

As an LSU fan I’ve seen this same issue last couple years. IDK what the issue is but both teams used to physically manhandle opponents and that is not happening anymore.

Every year a major portion of the team is seriously deficient. This guy has been coaching for decades and apparently he is unable assess the problems that will arise and address them.
Apparently he could he not see that the offense was going to be dysfunctional in spring and fall practices.
