This is the worst Lane offense I've seen

Can't remember seeing one this poor. Leavitt flat out isn't comfortable. Some of that is justified as OLine play has been sub par, especially against Ole Miss. Even when he does have time he's too quick ditch his progression and scramble. To his credit he's great at scrambling, but the offense isn't clicking at all.
What's the fix?

Actually, the OL play has been exactly par for LSU, which is a problem.

That’s all I got right now. I thought JD5 was horrible his first year with us! I vividly remember countless times yelling at the tv for him to throw the ball!!!!

It is the best OleMiss defense you've ever seen. They played out of their minds. Our O-line did not perform with the same energy.

Daniels refused to throw into coverage for a season and 3 games.
Daniels also had 2 all world receivers and a full offseason to work with them. What has Leavitt had? Just asking for a friend.
The reality is while all of these guys are bitching, I saw back shoulder throws last night. That is all about timing and getting a feel for game speed.

Get better players, our Wr's are undersized and not physical enough to get separation. The OL isn't good enough to just blow people off the ball to run or pass pro against an elite interior DT. The Qb looks like a squirrel that cant decide which side of the road to go to when a truck is coming at him. We just need better players, if we had a Heisman QB it would obscure the rest of our deficiencies but alas we don't unless the backup Clark is and the coaches are too dumb to realize it.

When you cant throw a 5 yard pass to a wide open receiver on the goaline for a td, you got problems if your the qb....that was unacceptable. One of many unacceptable plays by the qb. In light of all the bad play thru out the game in all phases on O and D, that play cost us a chance to make it 32-30. End of story.

Yeah man that was terrible. Dude had no one within 5 yards of him and was literally sitting still 10 yards away. Would have still had to get the 2, but could have led to a different outcome

Based on what? 2022 Ole Miss teams finished behind Year 1 Brian Kelly LSU in yards per game and points per game.
Right now, we are still top-20 in total offense.

He didn’t get to recruit any of the WRs outside of Watkins. Pulled guys from portal, but not necessarily what he’s looking for. That’s a big part of it. System will get better, but also, Ole Miss knows the system.

It’s his 3rd game in Kiffin’s offense, on the road, and he’s coming off a pretty significant injury. The offense will get better game by game.

He doesn't have the right qb. Leavitt wasn't his 1st choice it was his desperation choice. He flew on a plane to get Leavitt from going to Tennessee because they missed on Desmond Williams

Leavitt has developed a pattern of missing wide open dudes & the rest of the time he’s trying too hard to make a highlight reel.
Clark needs more PT. There’s no way all three of our QBs just throw duds to uncovered guys.

Thank you!!!! Say it louder for the people in the back. The NIL money was spent on multiple players as well as retaining players not just on a handful of guys. He got the best guys available. They played a team that had a playoff run last year and know how to play as a unit. Leavitt still leaves a lot to be desired so far but despite that a few completions change that game last night in LSU's favor. People back away from the ledge
