Why is it that our elected officials in Luisiana make life-changing financial decisions with the psychology of gamblers?

They gave Lane this gigantic contract and spent more than $50 million on the roster to lose to mediocre teams. This is not supposed to happen. Additionally I truly believe that Blake Baker wants out at this point. He’s just looking for a way to get canned. It seems to be the norm. Lsu is now the TRICK IN COLLEGE SPORTS.

Everybody knows that Lsu is running around with a blank check in their pocket and they would hire anybody to lead them. It’s embarrassing at this point because I strongly believe that I can hire a better football staff than lsu athletic directors. It seems that all the coaches know or believe that they can get hired at Lsu get a big check and runoff in a couple years. That’s their game now. Lsu is the trick of college sports.

Lsu has collectively thrown away $400 million in counting with the last three football coach coaching hires and none of them have really worked out except for one year. So basically that’s $400 million plus for one good year of football.

Off-topic but on topic suggestions
Search and build a good coaching program within the state we already have great players in the state

Why not JT Curtis as defensive coordinator?
Why not higher any of those coaches from other programs as analyst when they get canned? Sabin did this year after year?

I believe that Lsu went after one of those big contract, big splash hires again and it may not work out with Lane. He has a lot of growing up to do. He’s not mature enough to really create a winning sustainable program.

And I’m not shitting on Lane. I think he’s a fun person to watch but he’s not someone that I would trust to drive $1 billion dollar vehicle.

The last thing; the problems that Lsu’s athletic department is having is a direct impact of the issues that are persistent in the state of Louisiana as a whole. You have to build Louisiana infrastructure Baton Rouge infrastructure Baton Rouge’s social cohesiveness before you can really attract individuals that would be willing to invest their lives into building a winning program that’s sustainable. If you invest in those things first, you won’t have to invest so much into big contracts to motivate someone to lead or drive the shitty vehicle. How about you fix up the vehicle in every component of it that way you would have coaches wanting and willing to take pay cuts to be apart of your program.

Baker was in line to be one of the hot commodities for head coaching openings after this season. I highly doubt he’s mailing it in to get himself fired when he would be looking at a mid tier P4 head coaching job after a good season at LSU this year

You have to be trolling.

JT is nearly 80 years old and never coached beyond the high school level

Data Centers will save Louisiana from a fiscal ability standpoint. Fiscal Responsibility? That's going to be a significant hurdle.

Hear me out and put your thinking cap on I don’t necessarily mean JT Curtis, although I do believe that his level of football intellect and maturity and personal development skills would be essential to building a long-term sustainable program. I believe that Lsu truly lacks good positive leadership. It seems that we are a young institution and when I say young, I mean young in regards to athletic success. Post saving years. Which means that we make decisions from a position of someone that’s young immature with a lot of financial backing from daddy.

Older Coach like last Miles, even though he lost some games less miles was really a good coach because he understood how to build and sustain a program. He was mature. He was more of a father figure. He could lead young men to good positive lifestyles outside of the football field and so is that for Sabin and a lot of other older coaches and older male figures. Games like this all of these little smaller teams with far smaller budgets like the Kentucky and the Carolina. These are games we know Miles went in and dominated year after year. Think about less miles record his road wins versus losses our home field winning Street outside of really losing to Alabama. There wasn’t a team that consistently beat us. You wanna know why because the guy was old and seasoned and he possessed a level of maturity and mental football intellect that only comes what time……. Those are things you can’t buy, and Lsu is throwing money at an issue. That money is not gonna solve. You can’t buy more time with money.
