He’s right that Kiffin is a child though. Every place he goes ends in a circus and he brought it to LSU. He can’t help himself.

Paul "leave the sides" finebaum

Fired in Shreveport and let go at WWL a long, long time ago. Grudge. Is he an expert or something???

He's more of a ESPN / Disney mouth piece than the SEC. When asked if his rants were basically a script given to him by ESPN he danced & danced & never gave a definitive answer.

What has Kiffin done so far that is childish?
The only children in this are Ross the gay boy, Paul, Sankey, the dyke from Tennessee and the rest of the sec.

All he did was talk to some players that played for him at Ole Miss and answered questions from the media
he didn't tweet,
he didn't do anything
What you are responding to is a bunch of BS off Social Media and ESPN talking heads who actually didn't know all the facts
End of the day
Chambliss is playing but shouldn't be...that's a big deal and why the 5 for 5 came about

He didn’t do anything. Doesn’t matter what happened previously.

I think it needs to be answered at this point. Hes demeaning an entire state over and over and crossing the line. Its gotten old.

Because it was before that rule the sec passed on Monday. They wouldn’t threaten or rewrite a rule because bama asked a question much less played a pro
Exactly, but if this was about pros coming back and they felt this strongly about it why didn’t the SEC do this then? They only seem to care when Kiffin was going to get these players. It’s all anyone seems to truly care about.
Also, seems like making this new rule immediately after they were granted some eligibility seems like an attempt to block a court order. Which again is something else they never threatened for any other eligibility cases including ones involving actual former pro players.

Kiffin just loves to stir the pot. He could have walked away from this after the SEC passed the rule, but he can’t help being who he is.
If he did the exact same thing at another SEC school, this board would roast him.

Follow the money. Look where his paycheck comes from.

Are you under the impression it’s good to be notorious for being a fricking idiot?

How, exactly, does Kiffin walk away from a group of athletes suing the SEC?

He’s not at another school now, he’s at LSU. Shut your bitch arse up.

Says the governor is calling all the shots a LSU. President and Athletic Director are MIA and Kiffin is acting like a 16 year old. Hey Bain, Huey Long is no longer the governor.

You have to realize that Finebaum's self-esteem is built on pissing people off. That's how he's viewed his job as a journalist his entire career- as many journalists do- either piss people off or get them thrown into jail. I know because I once worked in the industry.
So even if he actually feels a certain way or not- he derives great enjoyment in "doing his job" by getting people, in this case a specific fanbase, to hate him because he knows it will drive them more and more to tune in and see what he says next.
This harsh, negative persona is why the networks value him. Not only does he look like a cartoonish, unathletic nerd, he hardballs anyone he can in as insulting a fashion as possible. For goodness sakes, the guy had an ongoing grudge for years toward Bobby Bowden of all folks for not taking the Bama job in 1986.
Pissed off LSU fans are what energize, fuel, and flame the fire for him, what keeps him going and makes his bosses happy. And the other SEC fans since they're fearful of LSU.
The best thing is to ignore this guy. That's what he fears the most. No clicks. No viewership or listeners. No response. He doesn't exist. Which gives him no value to his TV bosses.

Not rostering them is a good first step.
If you’d hate it at other schools, you should hate it at LSU.
If you’re old enough, have a beer and enjoy tonight’s game.

I dont think anyone that truly understands what this is all about, has an issue with these players playing.
This is a legitimate players rights issue and thats where it differs from other injunctions.

Finebaum is trolling like only he can and ya'll are just eating it up.
Posted on 9/5/26 at 3:09 pm to MetArl15
quote:Finebaum is only right if he's truthful. He's only truthful if truth is convenient for him.
He’s right
E.g., He always acted like Brian Kelly was wonderful. Their Monday conversations were a great privilege, etc. It was not the truth. The truth is he loathed Kelly, and the Monday interviews. But truth was not convenient for him at the time.
Now he's generating clickbait with his Kiffin bullshite, truth be damned. Pawwl is nothing but a clickbait whore. Truth for him is an avoidable inconvenience.
