Painfully obvious at this point

This is an average football team masquerading as a contender. This is a measuring stick game and it shows there's still a sizeable gap between us and the legit playoff teams. 7-5, here we come

We would be 3-6 if we hadn't made changes. Thats ship truly was sinking fast. We have to get better on the offensive line and at wr.

The team is good, but we have to execute against the elite teams of the conference

There’s no difference in going 6-3 or 3-6 at this point. If you can’t make the CFP it’s irrelevant.
Congrats on going to the Pop Tarts bowl.

yes there is... and it seems a lot larger than most of us, myself included, realized before tonight...
but tonight has shown me we are very, very far from where a championship contender...

exactly... when you spend as much money as we do to compete for championships and you lose to every ranked team you play, you are getting fleeced and not getting a ROI, at all...

I don’t know how anyone thought they were a playoff team. All the bs about what LSU spent in NIL, is only because they had to sign 63 players. They didn’t spend all that money adding 30-40 players, like a lot of other schools. I will say this, the game tonight was not a good look for Kiffin. The 4th and 10 call might be the worst calls I’ve ever seen.

Yep, watching the game it became painfully obvious we are a mid-tier SEC team.
