Leavitt is good. He's unfortunately not blessed with an O line that can give him hours of protection as is Trinidad Chambliss

His feet are getting happier by the minute. He’s tough but his accuracy and footwork are legit awful for as much football as he’s played.

The team will get better.
Leavitt has a lot of problems

It better
Unfortunately his ceiling just isn’t high enough to make us contenders
You also don’t develop a chest. It’s clear he plays scared
The right thing to do is let him finish his career next year elsewhere

Maybe A&M too -- and Miss St and Kentucky are playing good football as well.

The season is 25% over and the schedule only gets harder. The OL looks bad, the QB isn’t living up to the hype, who knows what’s going to happen with Green, and the defense is exposed. They better figure it out fast. If TAM beats LSU at home, the wheels could come off on this season.

Ole Miss probably feels embarrassed they gave up 24 points to him. He’s a scrambling QB who is plodding and slow. Plus outside of Green, he doesn’t have many weapons to throw too.
I’m honestly surprised Kiffin wanted him. He’s way worse than guys like Dart, Corral, and Chambliss. The offense is too herky jerky with him. Feels like backyard football.

I'm sure he will. But I've never seen a QB so bad at finding or seeing passing lanes...which leads to tip passes, helmet throws, and absolutely the worst of all, a tipped pass on a rollout when there is ONE defender in front of you.
He's footwork is awful, his accuracy is below average, and his patience in the pocket is about as bad as Jordan Jefferson.
You can fix footwork and pocket presence. I don't see how you fix his vision in a season.

He is a two yr project
There are no projects in modern CFB among teams trying to win championships
He was the best Kiffin could do for a late start. This will be his first and only year at LSU

Nah. Not game by game.
But he will be better by the end of the year.

Watkins is our only impact wr. Need to find some more guys in passing game with Treydez out.
Harris is open a lot. Leavitt just can't find him.

I’m not dooming yet, I saw some encouraging things tonight. We aren’t going to see a qb with that capability the rest of the season.

That ain't happening. No way.

Leavitt is trash. We paid $5m for a glorified RB.
