Is there a worse QB than Marcel Reed?

Is there some kind of scandal that Reed is getting paid by A&M Agriculture Department funds? Fitting because he plays like horse shite.

How dare you bad mouth the kid that was instrumental in us getting rid of BK. We ought to build Reed a statue outside our stadium out of gratitude.

Plus you don’t solve your OL problems by signing two of ours from last year. You can’t improve on suck. You can be an experienced suck but that’s about it

I think he is what he has always been. They lost several O linemen drafted by NFL teams as well as a playmaking receiver/return guy. He needs a good running from both RBs and his running adding additional pressure to defense to make throws over the top or against coverages by defenses sold out to stop the run.

They cannot run the ball this season unless defensive is bad, and Reed cannot pass to open up the run game.

Good OL, good running game, and an added WR weapon who is good after the catch Reed can be just an ok QB until he plays elite defenses. If he does not have good OL, running game, or that added WR he sucks arse.

I also think last year’s OC was a big part of his success as he helped limit his mistakes and being put in situations of having to force bad decisions. They also had enough talent around him to make up for mistakes he still made when playing overmatched defenses. When they faced top defenses the OC went conservative which some A&M fans complained that he held Reed back, but he really kept Reed in check to try to avoid whats happening now. When the OC left to be a head coach A&M promoted a career WR coach that no other team in over 20 years wanted to run their offense or call plays.
