So I guess this is the Rant approved excuse for getting pantsed, again, by the only 3 good teams LSU has played all season.
When time travel is possible you can go back to 2014 and us the “it’s his first year” excuse. But in 2026 he’s been disappointing. ~$100M spent to end up basically in the same spot you were last year and the same spot BK would have LSU in had he not been fired.

Yes.
We lost 2 close road games to ranked teams, one in OT. Both of those games could have gone either way.
Again, year 1 of Cignetti, they played one ranked team, and lost worse than we did. Their easy schedule got them in the playoffs, and they lost that game.
If we had only one ranked team on our schedule, we not only make the playoffs, we also have some big stats.

I think it's definite that Leavitt and Jones return, hopefully the line is better, and we get a good linebacker who can play a whole season. This team should be loaded next year.

Tex Tech(maybe), we are all in the same boat, Miami paid 6mill for their QB- All of college football is in the same boat 40mil rosters around 10mill$ Coaches and fans are mad as hell when it doesn’t work. When they’re getting paid it’s the fans right to bitch. It’s the NFL get used to it. The NFL has 135mil and 10mill + coaches. We- right now are a mid pro team we’ve got to lucky in the draft(portal) hit or miss. Cleveland has the same money as Detroit & Kansas City. It’s a dogfight now, anyone can beat anyone “Any Given Saturday”
