I didn't say LSU was. Check back in a couple of more seasons, LSU WILL be the better program.
You didn't address my point. Cignetti WOULD NOT have done what he's done at Indiana playing a full SEC schedule plus a power 4 team in the ooc schedule.
If you wade through all the BS little 10 hype and actually analyze that league, you'll find that MAYBE a handfull of teams at the top are good, the next half dozen are mediocre, and the bottom handful of teams are ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.
Cignetti's team doesn't have to go through the grinder an SEC team does. This gives him a bye, then a winnable game in the playoffs before he has to get his team up once or twice against a good team to win a title.
This is a much easier path than Kiffin has at LSU.

Georgia gets it done.
LSU has other programs that own them.

Cig had a better first year at Indiana than Lane has/will have at LSU. And it’s not really close.

If we played 1 ranked team all year, I think it's fair to assume we could go 11-1.

How long it took Kirby to win a championship? What was his record his first 3 years.

Yeah, you're right. A&M, Auburn, Clemson, Miss State, La Tech... those games were close. One of them could have beat us.

Look what Cignetti did at Indiana in less than 2 years.

Coaching is everything and Cignetti is a great coach.
