just watch Georgia dismantling Ole Miss. The linemen move people and make holes, DL stay in their lanes and get to QB, and the LBs and DBs come up qui9dkly and with malicious intent and make tackles instead of being wimps and try to grab ball carriers and hold on until help arrives. UGA tacklers take down ball carriers without help & with force. We don't. And we certainly don't block well to protect QB or open holes.
They have a toughness that most of the rest of football lacks, especially LSU.

On offense it starts with an OL that moves people off the ball and plays with an edge. Makes everyone else look better. We rarely have that at LSU.

LSU doesn’t have the horses that Alabama and Georgia have. We probably don’t match up well against Texas either and then Tennessee.

It all starts in the trenches, both sides of the ball

This Georgia D would molest LSU almost as badly.

This is, and forever will be, a line of scrimmage game and the SEC particularly is a line of scrimmage league.

Our offensive line just isn’t SEC caliber right now.

Havent really watch TENN but Texas is soft as Charmin IMO. They "bellrub"(anyone old enough to remember their old school FB coach using that term for being soft) as much as anyone I've seen on good teams.

Just reduce the mistakes a little bit and I think we beat Texas.

I agree. We're a mid-level SEC team, but not anywhere near the big boys..

The SEC used to run the ball and play defense. Thats why they were the best conference. Then Burrow came along in 2019, Bryce Young in 2000 and the SEC basically became the PAC-12 of the late 2000s, all passing and no defense.

Georgia has it correct, run the ball and play defense. Have depth and recruit good players. It really is that easy.

Everyone wants a quick fix with NIL now. It just doesn’t work that way.
