We let a mediocre team hang around despite controlling the clock 90% of the half with stupid mistakes. Then we let Kentucky dominate the clock the 2nd half, made 2 turnovers and couldn't run the ball unless it was our QB.

Great talent on this LSU squad. However, there are several liabilities in the lineup & on the sideline. This game shined neon lights on that fact.

We had an illegal formation and an illegal shift early. Those are mental mistakes and very straightforward penalties only Bill Vinovich could get wrong.
