Clark has been a way more efficient qb than leavitt

Not saying he needs to start but he’s been a better passer and manager of the offense than leavitt

Outside of the wow runs I’ve been underwhelmed with leavitt honestly

He's also come in late in games against worn down defenses, back ups, and no pressure.

He's also had the fortune of playing with some of the 1s on offense against those tired defenses and backups.

He looks great, but you can't compare Leavitt in the 1st quarter of a tie game to Clark in the 4th quarter of a blow out.

The good thing is if anything happens with Leavitt, Clark looks more than capable. Good arm and great instincts as a runner as his TD showed. Looks like a gamer.

He was a good portal QB. I think he was the first QB that Kiffin got. Was brought in to be potential starter if didn’t get anyone else.

I can only judge off when he’s in, me nor him have control over the defense he faces

Again, not saying he should start just saying he’s looked better and that I think lsu is in great hands with him in the future or if he has to play this year

While all this true, I think it's also true that he appears calmer and has more of a pre-snap plan than Leavitt. Leavitt seems like he's just winging it at all times and figures it out as he goes.

Man, you know better than try to bring some logical comments to tRant after an LSU game.

it's a lot easier to be calmer when you come in with a 30+ point lead

Sure, he also had spring practice with these receivers that Leavitt didn't have. I expected a bit of rust for Leavitt but I was also hoping for more improvement from week 1 to week 2 as they built up some chemistry. He's got 1 more week of practice to figure it out because the next two games are going to get a lot tougher

He definitely looks to have more zip on the ball. Wouldn’t have minded him getting a series or two earlier today.
