While I’m not Sam’s biggest fan, I also am not the guy to say the backup should always be starting.
How many interceptions off tips or wr drops? At least 3. Tonight was his best game passing, so I’m not going to be super critical, but he does need to be better of avoiding tipped passes.

1 was a drop by a WR, one hit off a OLs helmet, one (tonight) hit the finger of a edge rusher's finger. Leavitt has had 1 quarter where he didn't take care of the football, which pretty much tracks his 2 years as ASU where he had 9 total turnovers

Tonight’s INT was a truly unfortunate INT. He was throwing to the open guy and had the ball BARELY tipped. I guess you could say he should’ve thrown early but I am OK with the INT tonight as it was a good play by the rushing defender that I think any other QB makes that same play and it gets intercepted.

It’s not good, but if you throw out the La Tech game one int. was a tip, thanks to Weston Davis, when we were up 3 td’s. OM pick was the last offensive play of the game trying to throw the TD. The Clemson pick could have been a catch by Elzy, but it was behind him and ricocheted into defender. All three of these were from tips or ricochets.
