I don’t love reclassification because i’d rather them physically develop another year before their college window starts but it does give him a year on the team with West

All the brother will get to play on the same college team together.

The Weeks family has been a Godsend.
Bless them.
Bless them.

Yeah you and the other 46 people that voted are retarded. Get developed by a top D1 program or stay another year in a high school program.

The Weeks are the white Taylors

OU would only be West’s 4th game, so he should be good to come back even if he plays.
he played in USC, Nicholls, USA, and Vandy

Wes can’t play vs OU, he can play in the bowl game though.

How many of these kids are staying a 5th year to begin with. If the kid becomes what he has potential to be, he will leave at worst after his RS Jr year. So he would have 4 years in the program with one focused on physical development with a college S&C program.
It’s a win/win especially since he can play four games and still redshirt. Comes in his RS freshman year ready to play out the gate instead of having to adjust to college life as a true freshman that season.

Digging a little deeper on this… in my opinion, for as much noise and as much negativity as the team and staff has gotten from the outside (the fans and media), it says a lot that a kid who has two brothers here currently, commits here
Maybe, just MAYBEEEE, things aren’t as bad as the majority of this place makes it out to be. There’s no way an older brother, much less TWO older brothers would want their younger brother to go somewhere if it were a true shite show. The kid is a four star, he could have gone to other great spots but he chose to come here, and was probably encouraged by his brothers to do so
Maybe people in the building know more than tigerdroppings does

I think he is the best of the 3 at rushing the passer.

Reminds me of the 3 Selmon brothers that played at Oklahoma years ago.
There were bumper stickers that read:
Thank You Mrs. Selmon

Zach, welcome to the Tiger Nation!

am I the only one that dislikes players reclassifying
I see the arguments for and against. If you think a guy may be good enough to play as a freshman, then he will better as a redshirt freshman with a year under his belt.

Depends. Ryan Williams ain't too baf

Awesome news. You have to love the Weeks family. Good luck to all 3.

Not too excited that he's reclassified. I'm also for kids getting that 4th year of HS to grow physically, develop, and to just enjoy the high school experience of being a senior. These are memories you will never get back. Why rush your life when you don't have to?
ALTER? Who the hell isnt happy about Zach committing and getting to play here with his brothers?

Welcome aboard Zach. We want you here!

Do you think Whit comes back and plays with both his brothers? This would be awesome!
Posted on 11/26/24 at 12:33 pm to lowhound
I think you mean West but As long as he doesn’t play against Oklahoma he’ll be good to go
Posted on 11/26/24 at 1:46 pm to TankBoys32
I thought West was trying to redshirt and wouldn't play the rest of the year so he can come back next year, then I saw him play this past Saturday. Whit is a draftable Jr right? I hope we get see all three on the field at the same time. That would be awesome.
Edit: I stand corrected, Whit is just a soph. Is West done since he's back on the field?
