Then good thing the 19 and 20 classes will be able to carry the load.

Here’s all you need to know about the transfer portal. The guys contributing are usually not the ones looking to leave. This is the new normal. The guys that can’t hack it will transfer somewhere where they can get PT.

what's Marcel say about the joseph situation?
this is the 2nd time he has entered the portal and I get the feeling it is more than playing time.

You’re ready to judge that class after their freshman year? Seems a bit premature to me...

The sky is always falling here.

He's back in the portal?
The guy is like a yo-yo. commit, de-commit, sign, enter portal, exit portal, re-enter portal.............

I will never cry over a DB leaving. We consistently recruit that position on a high level. Also, I said this before, Kelvin Joseph should have been playing Safety.

when did he re enter the transfer portal

Isn’t Joe Burrow technically in that class.........

Remember, D.J. Chark did not get many minutes in his freshman years, and he is in the NFL today.
It is too premature to judge that entire class after just a year.
I thought Joseph was going to be competing for playing time this next season, but things have not worked out for him.

Exactly. And it isn't just happening here. Its everywhere so basically every summer we are going to start seeing people jump ship, people at every other school with depth jump ship, and it will end up being a need filling or free agent type market that will benefit us in times we need to fill a hole. It really will help most schools except the "super rich" star schools. My guess is you'll see a lot of guys we lost to Bama start showing up in it because they just can't take 8 5star dlinemen and feed them every year.

Considering it was possibly the worst LSU class in the last 15 or so years, nobody should have expected much anyway. After the 19 and looks like 20 class, a lot of the guys from the 18 class will be exactly what plenty of us thought, role players and depth. That was a class that would mostly never produce the first 3 years of entering school. That class was filled with guys you expect to hang around for 5 years and maybe bridge a gap if something goes wrong.

you are getting downvoted for saying the 2018 class is looking rough but you are speaking straight fax.
luckily our 2019 and 2020 classes are great

And you're getting downvoted for needing to acknowledge that you downvoted someone.

There’s still a crap load. My goodness people have to complain.
If they leaving it’s a good thing. Means we have talent and they aren’t cutting it.

I agree that overall that class has suffered a lot of losses, but we are missing a few big successes. The ones mentioned above and then Lewis is certainly contributing, and several others(Cherry, Clark, Baskerville, Jenkins, Jones, etc) still have time to make large contributions.
