Will Julian Lewis be highly coveted in the portal this year?

Such an odd situation but not surprised with coach prime…

Not the best film either at UC but former #1 qb in the nation if I’m not mistaken. Do we take a run on him next year even if Leavitt stays?

He's not good. He's in the same tier as Tate Martell and Jaden Rashada etc.

What makes you think Longstreet beats out Clark?

I love Clark’s game, and grit. He’s an electric runner, and does have nice zip on his ball, but being honest his accuracy is awful. Nowhere near good enough to feel confident with him as your starting QB at a school like LSU. He’s an extremely inaccurate passer. I’m not just talking about his completion % either. Look at some of his misses this year. His throws are way off.

But don't you think that if Longstreet was better than Clark he'd be the backup right now?

This feels like the classic LSU fan stance of the backup QB being the best player on the team. granted this is the 2nd and 3rd teamers but the idea is that we know (sort of) what Clark gives us so our imagination tells us that Longstreet must be better. This idea is predicated on the coaches being poor talent evaluators whihc could be reasoned under Miles and Kelly. I find that hard to stomach under Kiffin and Weis.

I wouldn't be surprised if either Clark or Longstreet (whichever one gets beat out) hits the portal and Lane brings in a P4, maybe G5 transfer QB next season.
