Why is everyone assuming house will be fired?

I think 1 more year but they have to get players. Where are those guys coming from? Don't see where they're going to get the personnel and A&M is taking all the guys in east Texas.

He's going to get fired because this maybe the worst defense in LSU history. The worst defense in the SEC etc. We have talent to be middle of the pack SEC.

The special teams were a disaster last season. As a result, Kelly “nudged out” the only coach who came with him from ND.

He hasn’t been hesitant to fire coaches in the past and he just watched the best QB he’s ever had be wasted by a historically terrible defense. House won’t be here next season

I think it’s a combination of both, no halftime adjustments as well as lack of talent.
That’s on House and the entire defensive staff, offense has talent and is recruiting at a high level. Freshmen usually don’t make much of an impact in House’s defense, Womack, Weeks, Toviano, almost nonexistent. Looking at the incoming class which is 2 years away from contributing and we lost our best corner prospect. We aren’t a year away with this defense, player, recruiting or coaching wise.

One of the DL didn't play and has been solid otherwise, the other has been far from impactful much less an All American. Our DEs can't impact the qb consistently and are too big. It's a crime what they've done to Jones.
Our A-A LB hasn't played like one and spends most of his time playing CB and chasing down runners from behind. Speights is an indictment of how bad pac 12 defenses are if he was all conference. Not sure the other but none of them can tackle worth a shite.
Ryan is abhorrent. The mere fact he plays is evidence we lack talent. Burns is good at times. Others he's out of position or missing tackles. Even better, talking shite down 14 when earlier the same kid(Milroe) ran through him. Sam is solid but can't judge a fly ball. Our CBs have been a wasteland. Last night the young kids had it easy since the rest of the defense decided to just let Milroe run around all night.
Then we got gassed and our lack of talented depth on the DL got pushed around for nearly 300 yards in a half.
We suck at tackling so badly that even the completely outclassed House was bitching "all you have to do is tackle" on a pan away. We lack coaching and talent. It's obvious.

For the purposes of this board, do you trust the guys running things to have chosen the right prospects to fix the mess? I don't. Combine that with the industry opinions on an individual basis being a mixed bag in most regards and there's reason for concern about the future. We've even lost hope with the portal based on this season. How much more is there until doom and gloom are appropriate?

Kelly has zero accountability and does not have to do jack shite about House unless he wants to.

Kelly's attention lately to watching the D in practices lately, in my opinion, he is studying the coaches more than the players.
