2021- Jah’von Grigsby (Scottlandville)
2022- Curtis Deville (Iowa)
2022- Roman Pitre (ULab)
2022- Malachi Preciado (Warren Easton)
2023- Rickie Collins (Woodlawn)
Seriously they’re recruiting their arse off!

Everyone has a Louisiana pipeline. We have enough D1 athletes to go around.

Remember this name = Curtis Deville (Iowa), this will end up being a miss by most SEC teams. He is better thank the kid in Jennings and k put him neck and neck with Citizen. He is a playmaker. We have played them all over the last few years and Deville can do it all.

Yes, Deville is a stud! 6’2 and can jump out the gym. He’s also pretty physical and a speedster. He just didn’t get enough exposure.

Looking at their coaching staff there are a few guys that have previous stops in the south so they probably made some in roads with LA high school coaches.
Plus, because of Drew Brees, Purdue is a very known school in this state.

I think in the past 15-20 years or so the secret is out. P5 programs can come to Louisiana and find starters even after LSU and other SEC programs have gotten their kids.

Deville can do anything that Crawford can do but with a better frame. I know he will probably play WR but the way he runs the ball and his vision, he could be a great RB. He is faster and more physical runner than Trevor Etienne. And his attitude does is not shite like Etienne.
Kids out west really do not get the exposure as NOLA and BR kids do but there are some gems. I hear Deville is a good student and a good kid, the kind of kid we want, a shame he was looked over.

Deville is from Iowa, is a 3 star. Good athlete, played the I 10 bowl game and later that night led the basketball team in scoring.

That’s Awesome, any avenues we have for the local kids is a plus. Hopefully BK and Frank utilize the Southwest when they can.

None of these kids are misses by LSU. However, it's a big hit to other in-state schools to not land these kinds of kids.
One thing Ed Orgeron did when he came in that I really thought was cool was that he worked together with other schools in the state to try to provide exposure and scholarship opportunities in-state to Louisiana athletes. He was smart to realize that the more talent that stayed at Tech, Tulane, ULL, etc, the less pipeline there would be to out-of-state schools and the less opportunity for those schools to create inroads to eventually swipe a 4* or 5* kid from the state. I hope we'll see strong programs in the state that can recruit and retain LA talent at home.
