If this follows the coaching search results and Sorsby is our guy, then Sorsby it is. Start the bidding. Verge will make sure Kiffin gets his guy.

Yeah wouldn’t make any sense to spend the money they did for Kiffin to not spend on the players he wants

Baker was never committed to LSU. LSU went after Baker after Bryce Underwood decommitted, but Baker stuck to his UNC commitment after meeting with the recently hired Bill Belichick.
The one and only HS QB commit that LSU had last year was Underwood until he flipped to Michigan.

If this is the case then something went bad wrong. LSU was supposed to have so many top targets clamoring to come and then end up with nothing but cheapo backup caliber QBs?

By all reports, sorsby is QB1 target for us. After that it gets a bit murky. There are rumors that we may kick the tires with Simpson.

I think if worst comes to worst then MVB is plan b and Kiffin finds a couple lower level players to compete / fill out depth.
