Lagway is really good at throwing to players in purple and gold

Shane would be insane to go to VaTech. I know his daddy coached there but VaTech is a dead program. In state talent raided by all the major programs around it and its crushed in NiL by UVA.
Its a money game now and thats a broke arse school.
Never know what boosters they could dig up with him at the helm.

Are you dumb? VT has some very wealthy donors. He could put a fence up in the state because uva football is nonexistent. Scar will never amount to anything with Clemson and GA

but I would 100% take Lagway if he becomes available. Kid is incredibly talented.

He sucks and is incredibly inconsistent.

He is inconsistent, but he is very talented. He's dealing with absolutely shite coaching at that dumpster fire. He's not my #1, but if he entered the portal, I would absolutely take him. Now, if he demands $4mm, my tune likely changes.

Their NIL capabilities are laughable compared to rival schools. They are competing with Penn State, UVA, Clemson, UNC etc. All of those schools have more money. And all of those schools, except for UVA, care about football. It appears UVA might start caring though.

I truly hate when people say stuff like this, same with Nico. These are still relatively young EXTREMELY talented players.

Lagway is dealing with injuries, but he's highly talented. IMO Napier is not the guy he should have gone to. Napier runs that offense and the OC/QB coach is an afterthought. Remember how terrible Richardson looked his one year with Napier? Napier doesn't know how to develop QBs. When he had Graham Mertz, Mertz had played 4 years before he came there and had started 32 games already.

Lagway under LSU would be infinitely better than he has been at Florida. Many of us wanted him out of high school.

They said the same thing when Jayden Daniels transferred in. Everyone wants to recruit numbers, and I get it. But recruiting the talent has proven to work too. Both Burrow & Jayden were in this category.

CJ Bailey - NC State

6’6 210 has a beautiful deep ball and can run when it’s there.

Little fun fact he was Jeremiah Smith’s QB in HS coming out of Miami.

Has got the Wolfpack 3-0 so far this year with a 84.5 QBR good for 12th in the country.

He hasn't done much better in the NFL.

So was he overrated to begin with at Florida, or did Sunbelt Billy break him before he got drafted?

Either way, if you're using Richardson as an example I (personally) wouldn't touch Lagway as QB. Maybe as a TE, but not as QB1.

take a peak at the Cal QB... hes pretty good

That was my first thought. I got to see his debut and he looked like an NFL QB, but is only a freshman.

Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele (Song-uh-poo-lah-tell-ee) aka JKS. 6-3, 225. I gotta feeling there will be a bidding war for him at the end of the season if he keeps it up:

Scar is competing more with Clemson and UNC.

VT has more money than Scar or Clemson does.

VT is also in an easier conference. Makes too much sense for Beamer to go back

I disagree.

The expectations at South Carolina aren't terribly high. If he can at least keep them in the discussion for a CFP sport (not even have to make it) on yearly basis the fanbase will be happy.

If he goes to VT he will always be living in the shadows of his father. Even if he does a good job there, it's unlikely he would be able to have the same level of success Frank had there simply because of the realities of college sports today.

Is this your first year watching college football?

Once you start winning, fans want more. He’s not getting them over the hump. VT have even less standards. Again, he just got whooped by vandy. Not beat by a point. Whooped.

Standard and expectations are less with more responses at VT.

He’s done.

You better know LSU is evaluating all the potential portal targets, and everyone. They'll pay whatever. Kelly now realizes you've got to buy your QBs or bust.

Anyone see what the Cal guy did this week? He was horrendous in a 34-0 loss to San Diego State.
