I still say that Bastrop and Curtis were the two best teams in the country in 2007

West Monroe plays Ouachita that night, huge district game. WM was listed as one of the top 10 places to see a game in the US. It's 3 hours away from Baton Rouge though. I would probably go to that Destrehan/Dutchtown game if I were you.

I would go to the Ouachita/West Monroe game. Two of the largest schools in the state with the largest and loudest fan bases. I'm not sure where the game is at but the West Monroe stadium provides a good experience. They live for high school football in West Monroe. And you could check out future LSU standouts Allen and Hunter.

West Monroe/Ouachita game hands down. It's worth the 3 hour drive.

WM vs Ouchita would be an amazing game to go to. There's some great football between N.O.L.A and BR. Yall will be able to find something easy.

I've gone to several WM games and never had my car searched. I know several people who go to the games every home game none of them have been searched by police. You seem just a little bitter about getting busted or something.

If you want the best high school experience in Louisiana I would suggest....UL-Lafayette, UL-Monroe, or Tulane (but Tulane doesn't own a stadium). You can expect around 10,000 or so fans, a decent band, and an upper level high school stadium

Might as well put LATech, McNeese, Nicholls, and SLU in there, too.

ESJ, Destrehan and Hahnville always play great games against one another. If I was forced to pick it would any match-up between these three.

I was in Antigonish last week. Always enjoy it. If you are moving from TO, you are in for a change.

This raises a good point, what schools should we avoid attending for safety reasons?
