I can understand what you mean but this isn’t a marriage. It’s sports. I imagine there would be a serious conversation about being more committed to the program a second time around. Young people make bad decisions sometimes. If the team and the staff accept him back then it shouldn’t matter what you or I think. I’m more concerned with the football side of things. Outstanding athlete but I still not sure where he fits on the field. I would gladly welcome him back tho.

He’s played in 6 games & has 2 tackles.

What do you think you are missing out on

He almost left TCU this season talking about being a rapper or IG influencer. I don’t think he really likes football.

With our limitations on schollys if you can bring back a guy with brooks talent and not have it negatively effect you you do it. You’re adding back a guy who had impact in our biggest games last year. Also brooks never appeared to be a fit at tcu . The LSU players are his brothers. Marcell was basically told to go clean his act up. It wasn’t just weed either with him.

Great time to be a walk in

I never singled him out as a big loss. Just that he was another projected starter that left the program. Why do you make shite up?

It’s pretty clear he left for mental health issues, he’s so much as said he made a huge decision based off that and it seems like he regrets it. If he’s gotten help and wants to be back, I support that.

He had 8 total tackles, 2 solo, and 1.5 sacks as a freshman with LSU.

On a team loaded to the gills with NFL prospects. He looked really, really solid in limited action last year. It appears after reading some stuff about his stint at TCU that he couldn't get Patterson's defensive playbook and was a tweener there like he was with us.

A top notch and creative DC finds a spot for him because they'd recognize he's too much of a playmaker to be kept off the field (i.e. Aranda).

I think he'd excel in Jacoby's role. A box strong safety/OLB hybrid.

205lb edge rusher isn’t really sustainable

This. He could be killin it at safety but he wants to be an edge rusher. Will never make an NFL roster in that position. No place for aguy this size in a 4-2 alignment.

I don’t think this is accurate.
