Has there been any news or rumors about him entering the portal recently? I work in Hammond with some guys that know the family and they said it’s been pretty quiet in Ponchy. Can’t believe he would stay

Seems like they backed up the Brinks truck to keep him.

They seem to be holding onto that last class pretty well. I think it means they signed some deals that won’t pay them a ton of money if they leave

Staying. LSU was contacted via backchanels. But the win vs LSU gave them tremendous boost. Morale and direction of the program is at an all time high. The recruits have bought in. Unprecedented what a single victory can do to a program.

If recruits were that swayed by one win, they are awfully short-sighted. Jimbo isn't going to give up control of offense, I don't care what he says. They will be 8-4 next year.

Agreed. If their commitment one way or the other hinges on week to week outcomes then they can certainly stay and be pedestrian. Those aren’t the kind of kids you need to lead you through adversity.

Lose a couple too many games and they’ll all be looking to bolt again. Great leadership from those kids, no doubt. Aggy can keep them

I’d rather have guys who are interested in being part of a program for the right reasons not just bc we had a better year than their current school.

Word out is they have to stay two years, to get the bulk of their money. They didn’t want one and done. That’s what was told to me.

If true, let them stay 3-4 years there. Don’t want kids only interested in dollars. I get it it’s appealing to all but that can’t be the ONLY factor in their recruitment and if it is I’d run the other way

He was never coming here. For those saying they heard the dude cried to Frank Wilson and this and that don’t really know shite in my opinion. Whenever he chose A&M at his ceremony he made a show out of it, having his brother pick the LSU hat up first before choosing A&M. Doesn’t sound like someone struggling with his decision. IMO, his arse can stay there and wallow in mediocrity for the next 2-3 years.
