I know Desmond Ricks is committing on Thursday in Norfolk,VA. I live in VB,VA, and would like to go watch him put on the LSU hat. Does anybody on this board know the location? I'm assuming it's one of the high schools. Or maybe a church his family attends?

I've looked on the internet by the way, and have had no luck finding it. Just trying to avoid the Google is your friend comments.

Very misleading title. Should be in the form of a question.

Have you heard where? Norfolk only has 4 or 5 public high schools, and I think he went to Oscar Smith in Chesapeake before transferring to IMG.

Yeah, I bleed P&G, got season tickets and drive over three hours to most home games, but I'm not doing that. LOL

This feels creepy. If you aren’t invited, don’t go. Let the kid have his moment with his family and friends

It would be creepy if it was an invitation only event, and I tried to move heaven and earth to get in anyway. These things are open to the public as far as I know, and if you stabbed me with a knife, purple & gold colored blood would spurt EVERYWHERE. So yes, I would like to go all dressed out in my LSU gear and watch and support this hopefully future tigah STAR sign on the dotted line to the good guys. And I won't apologize for that.

He's not your friend. He's not your family. No one wants you there. All you are going to do is either look desperate for attention or like a stalker.

Rickie Collins held his signing ceremony in an OVERFLOWING Mason's Grill near his HS.

After reading your post/response, I'm trying to visualize all of the losers that weren't Rickie's friends and family that had to appear EXTREMELY STALKERISH for attending his PUBLIC signing ceremony. I bet he said to himself: "Who are all these idiots I don't want here? They seem really desperate for attention."

Thanks for talking me down about attempting to attend the Ricks ceremony. Of course I was going to go in there screaming "LSU, LSU" and banging as loud as possible on some bongo drums. Whew!!! That was a close one. Thanks again for slapping me back to reality.

You actually thought it would be cute to frame it in "Nobody wants you there. You will look like a stalker who's desperate for attention." When the reality is, dipshit, these signing ceremonies are for the most part, attended by the general public also, which includes fans of the schools in the running. It also doesn't hurt to rep the brand of LSU (by as many people as possible) so his peers who could very well be high profile recruits themselves in the next year or two(or even longer), see LSU represented in the room.

You will most likely be hitting refresh on this board every 5 seconds (in a non stalkerish way of course) to find out if Ricks picked the good guys Thursday evening. And if for some reason you won't be doing that (wink wink) there will be PLENTY of Tiger fans who will be. I'll be in the restaurant, church, school, or wherever (hopefully) as it happens.

brether, consider this: if he wanted outside people to attend, you'd probably know where it was going to be held

You actually could be right about that. And if that is the case, I won't make an attempt to go. If it's open to the public however, I will be there trying my best not to appear like a stalker who is desperate for attention.

That's enough Recruiting Board for me. I try to get into it. I really do. I just can't with some of these folks.

It would look like that Salt Bae idiot who highjacked Messi and other Argentinian players celebrating with their kids and teammates after the final match Sunday night. He even grabbed the World Cup trophy and rubbed it with his salty hands.

This dude was given a restaurant outlet on the waterside here in Abu Dhabi rent free plus he stays at the Four Seasons free, just for rolling salt off his forearms. Can't wait to go outcook his arse with my menu being seafood gumbo and jalapeno shrimp poppers for appetizers with a lump crab stuffed softshell crab and crawfish bisque for mains with a stuffed potato. No amount of salt and beef can beat that
