I hope he does get his head straight and take full advantage of his talent the right way. That said, there’s no denying whoever he signs with is taking a chance. Those are just words until he backs them up with actions.

Well if you can’t get into Georgia because of your score, you did.

Agree. Obviously, he’s an immature young man. Wish him all the best but LSU will be fine without any of that selfish drama.

Team solidarity is a big reason why LSU is so successful this year.

Well did Northshore win state? I am old but being kicked off high school team like that in my day most all of teams would have pulled their offer.

They did win without him.... HOWEVER Duncanville's QB tore his ACL the week before. if they had him they probably would have won and Evans would have looked a lot worse. Lucky break imo.

I think UGA Sent his papers back. Why didn't he pull the hat out of the bag like the other kids

He may very well be. He is young & immature though.

Always be leery of anyone who compliments themself in a serious tone. If it’s a true statement, others will speak it.

Good luck to the dude. Sanders telling him he will play on Sundays is not helpful IMO. Tell the kid nothing is promised. Get to work.

so getting a 34 on ACT, but not getting into Harvard because they want a 35 is flunking?

you can’t flunk the ACT. it’s a standardized test. you get what you get.

Why you make this hard?

There is a minimum standard in order to be eligible to play at all.

I haven't seen Zach nearly enough to form an opinion.

But lets compare Honey Badger and Ryan Perriloux for example.

Honey Badger was a very very nice kid, humble and coachable.

Ryan Perriloux was an a-hole, not humble.

This dude Evans sounds more like Perriloux. We will see.

He gets something in his head and makes immature decisions but always ends up apologizing afterward.

Him apologizing over and over again after doing the actions, doesn’t mean a damn thing. If he continues doing that stuff then he clearly is never sorry and genuine in that in the first place. Doesn’t make his actions right just because he apologizes every time after he does something retarded.

He is looking at 3 schools - LSU, Georgia and Bama, that are all in good shape at running back. Maybe they all pulled their offers because he isn't worth risking a hit to their team chemistry. If it comes down to having to make a public apology or play at a shithole like aTm, he's making the apology and hoping for the best.

It looks like maybe UGA said no. ?

My thinking as well.
I've read everything put out by all involved(Bama,UGA,TAM, LSU, national) and everyone knows he signed with UGA without question.
He apparently tried contacting other schools 24 hours after doing so. Thinking said schools informed UGA or SEC/NCAA that he was doing so. Kirby gets a call about it and it raises flags. Kirby tells him they aren't sure they are gonna accept his LOI and the process begins. Zach continues on the path that he I going to announce tonight but he still hasn't gotten the ok from UGA so he postpones.
All that seems pretty easy to conclude if the reporting of him contacting others is truthful.
Where it goes off track is the interview with Brian Dohn after the game. In that he says he can't speak on his LOI yet. That part just tells me he still doesn't know if UGA is gonna accept him.
The strange part of that interview is him talking about coaches leaving as part of his reasoning. Even UGA people aren't tracking that one well. It leaves things open to a little more interpretation.
The ACT thing is anyone's guess but UGAs side doesn't think that's it. It seems the not enrolling early part stems from not knowing if UGA is gonna accept him.
My conclusion, he's UGA if they accept him. If not, who knows. If word starts trickling out the next couple of weeks that UGA is pursuing another RB then he's likely not gonna be there.
Bama has no interest and hasn't since the first incident in Sept. At that point they put the full court press on McClellan.
Don't think LSU is interested unless we strike out and he comes available.

Wonder who he is talking abt as georgia lsu and bama havent had any coaching changes yet, atleast not publicly and he couldn't be talking about Brady. As you cant sign another contract while you have a contract currently.

Interesting how you can infer he was genuine and in your mind be correct, but with my opinion that he is not, makes me wrong.

What?

I didn't infer anything. I specifically said on the previous page only 1 person knows if it was genuine, and you are not that person.
