Of all the quarterbacks that Urban has coached, how many have been starters in the NFL. Tebow is one. And look at the great job Urban did getting him ready for the next level.

GG, stay away from CUM.

Stay away from Urban and Jimbo and go to Coach O! O's long history of getting QB's ready for the NFL and competing for championships is undeniable! Can't say the same for Urban and Jimbo.

Even though it was the seventh round, could you imagine the flak you would have gotten midseason over on the Rant if you started a thread saying Etling would get drafted, by New England at that

Gunnell was at the Houston TAF tour and plans to make a trip to Baton Rouge soon.

Was anyone in Houston for the TD club dinner? Gunnell was there, and it sounded like an awesome time.

Enough said. I might be alone here but I think we might be in a good spot with Gunnell

Ohio St. recently offered a dual threat after Gunnell's visit.

Gunnell is not coming to LSU. Look at his HS stats. They are almost identical to Brennan’s HS stats. He’s a pure passer. After the spring game he knows that in LSU’s dual threat QB offense he will never beat out McMillian or Narcisse. No matter how many lies O tells him. WATCH!

Also, the mods on Ohio State's 247 site are having doubts now about him coming there

That's a ridiculous statement. Watch Gunnel's video:

It's literally the same offense we ran in the spring game. You will also see Gunnel has good mobility.

Also, we will be adding Davis and are trending towards Emery as our RBs which gives us 2 elite backs to add to CEH and Proevens so there will be a lot less reliance on the QB to gain yards with his feet in 2019.

Brennan could still win the starting spot this year, but he has struggled at times. The player that is accurate, knows the offense and can work his progressions will get the job. Lastly, the player that steps up as a leader will also have the edge and by all accounts that's McMillan right now.

LSU needs an elite QB in this class. The relationship Gunnell has with Ensminger makes it sound like they are definitely in the running.

Fingers crossed.

What exactly do you and others mean when you say Brennan has struggled? I’m trying to understand.

Is it when the OL protection breaks down and he has to throw the ball away to avoid a sack?
Is it when he puts the ball right in the hands of the receivers and they drop it?
Is it when the receiver runs the wrong route and the pass results in an incomplete or INT?
Is it that he throws the ball to a spot where the receiver should be and it results in an INT?
Is it that he weighs under 200 lbs?
Or is it that he has had 2 head coaches, 3 offensive coordinators, 2 QB coaches and 2 completely different offensives to learn in less than the 12 months that he has been on campus?
It’s amazing to me that anyone playing QB at LSU in the last 2 years even knows which way is up!
