Redius pulling them in I see.

Iowa wont be the same next year. They lost alot. Clark of course, Martin and Marshall are all gone and have been the nucleus of their success.

94 feet WBB reporting she's set to commit to Iowa.
Can you provide a link to any of this? Are these legit sites?

She committed about an hour ago.

seems like a perfect fit TBH. But regardless Iowa is taking a major step back next year. You dont realize how good of a player CC is until she leaves.

Olsen would have been lovely but there are other guards still on the table that are much better fits for what LSU needs at the PG position.

It has been reported all along that Iowa was Olsen's choice. She was not considering LSU nor anyone else. So not a loss if LSU was never considered. Best of luck to her, she will need it, playing against the best Big10/FBS schools. And taking over super star PG Clark, unfortunately she will constantly be compared. She ain't no Clark.

This was where she was headed from the get go. The rest was just optics.

apparently Kailyn Gilbert from Arizona was on a visit yesterday/this week. she left Arizona’s program mid season in February.
averaged 15.1 ppg & 5.3 rpg this past season & was the no. 31 recruit in the class of 2022 out of IMG academy.

Would be a nice get with 2 years of eligibility left. Dismissed from the team mid season is a bit concerning though

“Gilbert often fell into old habits of not sharing the ball. Barnes stated on multiple occasions that she understood that it was how Gilbert had played for most of her life simply because she had to on previous teams, but said that it would not work at this level.

Gilbert made it clear in conversations with the media that she still did not like playing defense, which is a requirement to play for Barnes. Several weeks ago, Barnes said that players would play both offense and defense or they would “rot on the bench.”

Kim isn’t letting someone join without playing defense for her, it’s no different here.
She makes that well known to people when they come in. I’ll trust Kim’s judgement on this

Seems like a high risk high reward player

Reports say Gilbert doesn't like playing defense. Ball handling is an issue and is turnover-prone. Kim will have a problem with those 2 areas, defense and turnovers. Big question--why was she dismissed from the team mid season?

357…. I say the Bama guard Nye is in the portal. Would she be a good fit? She shot it well.
Posted on 4/18/24 at 8:48 am to Tigerbait357
Bama’s Aaliyah Nye has entered the transfer portal with “do not contact” tag. 5'11" G. Avg 14.1 ppg, 3.1 reb, 1.3 asst. She is 3-point sharp shooter at 40.5% as a Sr and 45.1% as a Jr. Broke Bama's record for 3-pointers at 108 shots made. Led SEC in 3 pointers last season and ranked #3 nationwide.

i saw aaliyah nye snuck into the portal! problem is i don't think a player like that is willing to go anywhere she would not start. do you? and mk and flau'jae own those spots.

357 etc, would an incoming PG not start? Williams, Flo, Smith, Morrow+ 1?
