I just don't see her starting, with the talent we have at the two guard (Morris and Poa), and I don't see her as a natural point guard. I think she'll be coming off the bench. Of course, she'd be in that first group off the bench. Right now, this team, with Reese, can go 9 deep easily. But Kim doesn't seem to be the kind of coach that likes to play that many. So, we'll see how this pans out. Either way, this team could end up being more talented than this past season.

Okay. I see it now. I was getting a blank profile picture.
Next year’s team is starting to take shape. Here is my opinion on the starters. I am of course no expert.
1. Kateri Poole is your starting PG unless Kim lands someone better. I don’t see Ware ever playing a key role for Kim Mulkey. She was in that group of end-of-the-bench subs that pissed Kim off by lolly-gagging in garbage time of a blowout win. Kim said: “They probably won’t see the floor again.” And Kim kept her promise. Ware does not go from that to starting pg.
2. Of course Flau’jae Johnson is going to start from the get-go. She is an out and out baller and can take a game over.
3. Assuming (I hope) we land Reese but then can’t keep Martinez, things set up well for Kim to play her three-guard-two-post lineup.
I think it will be Poole, Morris, and Johnson up top, with Reese and Williams down low.
Kim got the absolute max out of Fargas’s recruits. Now we’ll see what she can do with her own, both from high school and the portal.

Martinez is gone. She removed her commitment and coaches unfollowed her.
But if they land Reese none of it matters because she is a major upgrade anyways

I could see that as a starting five, if we go with the three guard lineup again. If not, I think it would be..........

Unfortunately, they can. Happened to us last year when Moon Ursin signed with LSU from Baylor as a grad transfer, but then later transferred to Tulane not long afterward. There need to be more rules to this because people make adjustments to rosters to make room only for this to happen? Doesn't seem right.

Someone else on another forum posted that you only sign a NLI once, after that you sign a ASA which is only binding for the school not the athlete
Case in point, Martinez did the exact same thing before. She got released from her NLI after Miss St coach went to Texas. She then committed to Texas, who made a official announcement of her. One month later she ends up leaving and ending up at WVU.

Hey y'all, just found out this is a "dead week" for recruiting in the NCAA. So this may be why we're seeing people unfollowing recruits on social media. Coaches cannot participate in any recruiting activities including contacts, evaluations, visits, camps, phone calls, texts, mailings or social media from May 2nd to May 8th. LSU women's basketball says on their facebook page that they will not post any more recruiting till May 9th, when that dead period is over.
