Moreover, did LSU make him appear to be a great recruiter by geography and status?

Kansas finished #56 in the 247 Rankings with zero 4 or 5 stars and 26 3 stars this year.

Well for Kansas that's pretty decent. No instate talent to speak of and they've been one of, if not THE worst P5 programs of the last 5 years

Are you for real? Do you realize how hard it is to recruit at Kansas?

Those classes were good.
He’s at Kansas, a dumpster fire , did you think anyone there would get a top 10 class?

I'm surprised they got 26 3 stars tbh.

So I guess he is good at recruiting.

I think he was a good recruiter but not a great recruiter. The quality of his classes seemed to be heavily tied to the quality of that cycle's in-state talent. O has proven that he can bring in an elite class regardless of that year's in-state talent.

Nevertheless, I think you're massively underselling how hard it is to get the class he got this year. That's a really good class considering the school.

That is Kansas's best class in like 6 years.

A little of both. Lsu has had great recruiting classes consistently since the late 90s. Thats because of the talent in this state moreso than it was Miles. But he is a decent recruiter

There are nearly 2600 3 stars in the composite this year. It would be hard not to.

With only one or two exceptions, Les' La. classes were ranked roughly the same as Orgeron's.

Their last 5 classes have been; 73, 70, 71, 60, 70, and 56 with Miles this season. Dude is selling KANSAS to 3 stars...

Miles was a lot of things but a bad recruiter ain’t one of them.

But with Les's deep play book, creativity and 5 timeouts a half he's going to have em playing like 5stars in no time.

Les was great at bringing in talented skill players. He failed when it came to the lines. That’s why Bama dominated him for so long.
