Texas insider Gerry Hamilton reporting he will visit LSU next Friday for the Bayou Splash then Florida Saturday and Sunday. Expects decision to come in August.
Updated Friday he is attending Florida Saturday and Sunday. Flight times and scheduling didn’t align.

Was just about to add to the OP. Believes it’s Texas, LSU then Florida. Great relationship with Terry Joseph bring from the same town and such. Timeline sped up for announcing because he’s cramming next weekend in.

Mack is a must get for me. Not just because he can play safety or corner, but because if he leaves the state, it would be the third straight class where the highest rated DB from Louisiana doesn’t sign with LSU.

Our side feels good about him. Shea said he would find it hard to believe Frank Wilson loses this one in the end. Starting to hear Texas and LSU sides talk about well even if Simmons/Mack commit now nothing is set until pen hits paper.

Ultimately it's the truth, December is when it matters, but both are hedging because they've pumped their respective bases so full of sunshine they can't turn back now. Not suprising
