Yeah I agree but just not in the cards with him apparently. I wondered about the negative recruiting with the numbers but at least we know right now instead of dragging it out. I figure he will end up at Texas not Florida though.

I thought frank wilson was the recruiting monster in Nola.

This is disappointing

I think the LSU side is going to continue to work this behind the scenes until ESD. Listening back to the Bengal Tiger Shea always made it seem like in the end Frank wouldn't lost him when the dust settles.

DB’s grow on trees in Louisiana and our bordering states. If he doesn’t want to be here, it’s his loss. This train ain’t stopping any time soon.

Apparently Sonny is hearing wardell is not in love with the numbers LSU has in the secondary class.

It'll be interesting to see how it plays out but not showing today and not visiting in June you can see the writing on the wall

We’re missing the real possibility that Mack isn’t even a CB at the next level. Just saying.

Our DB class is excellent right now. Would be better with Mack and I hope he we get him, but we’ve put some great hay in the barn already.

yeah when you look at the numbers as a prospect I get that but realistically he should know that they're trying to build the DB room with high school depth instead of the portal

I'm sure there's more to the story than just him not liking how much competition he has here... like who's in his ear whispering things, how much money is on the table, are people promising playing time immediately (which UF can b/c their roster is depleted)...

He's teammates with Khayree and Frank IS Nola so it's not over (for at least a year) until he puts pen to paper. But ultimately if the kid decides to go elsewhere, good luck to him. I just hope people don't behave like they did when Etienne left the state.

If we are gonna lose out of Mack and Mickinley, id much rather it be mack honestly. Our DB class right now is excellent, even without Mack.

Oh I am sure there's so much more to it than that. I just read the text "Wardell not coming" and started to wonder. I mean if it's NIL then Florida and Texas both are good in that market.

Other insiders are saying not to make anything of his not attending the splash.

I hope someone can tell us why he decided to not come and just go to Florida instead. Maybe the relationship with Corey Raymond?

How is that supposed to work? He hasn't visited LSU and took all the other visits in June. They always say "watch what they do and not what they say"

Logistics. He can visit LSU literally any time he wants. With school starting soon, getting to Florida for an extended time would be more difficult.

Thatd be my guess

I get it. Supposedly, a family member is saying it doesn't mean anything. I have no idea if that has any merit though.

It’s not just CR at UF…Juluke is there as well with plenty of Westbank relationships.
A similar recruiting battle played out with UF for Fulton
