They gonn stick with Finley and Johnson or are they going after any other big boys?
DJ is a program changing type talent. Would love for us to sell out for him.

DJ is 100% not coming to LSU.

I don’t see us moving on another QB unless another school’s top level QB commit tells us he’s in.
There’s not really any left uncommitted that move the needle enough to tell Johnson or Finley to take a hike. You’ll start seeing the QB pieces fall for 2021. Nussmeier is close to popping

Clemson is obviously not a bad choice for DJ, in that he gets to redshirt his first year and watch/learn from Trevor who'll have 3 years exp before the jump to the pros. Probably the smartest route, career-wise.
However, he'd have a chance here at LSU to start Day One next year, in an equally QB-friendly system, if he competing early becomes a priority for him.

Finley is not the answer!

LSU is gonna get Nussmeier or Caleb Williams next year

Doubtful.
Just wait. Brennan is going to light shite up the next two years. Bookmark this post and let’s revisit it in a little over a year.

Brennen food and Inlike our two AQB’s committed.

Well he's the answer you're getting, so... and there is no QB board at the moment. We have 2 on board and they aren't actively looking for others at the moment.

I love the support this board gives to our commits.

Big mistake not swinging for the fences at QB this year.

These threads are pathetic.

Maybe they like what they see. Have you seen any good QBs in person?
Posted on 9/16/19 at 7:34 pm to Mjscelfo
If we landed Caleb Williams he would be the best QB commit in the history of the program and higher than and rated just as high as Perilloux and Russell. I saw Williams with my own eyes and he is hands down the best QB in his cycle in the country and it’s not even an arguement

Completely agree! It seems that some have forgot exactly who he was in high school. The dude can straight up sling it and he will be good in this offense. Most freshman QBs do not step on campus ready to roll.

How do you know this staff hasn't? How do you know Brady and staff are not firm believers that a hometown product like TJ can light it up?

TJ is a project that won’t be ready to play for at least 3 years. His footwork is really bad but he makes up for it in high school on shear arm talent.

What ties do we have to Caleb Williams?
