Personally, I think Turner will move on and Chester will take that job, but that’s just a guess. We’ll see.

I agree simply because I don’t think Turner can increase his stock much if at all. Maybe a little but with Chester waiting in the wings, I think Chester would end up taking that center spot no matter if he stays or goes. With more offseason training and more specific training at the center position for Chester, he’s just too darn good not to take it over.

We will have a different OL next year. A lot of the HS recruits from the last two or three years will be moving into the starting roles. We have some big arse dudes who could have played this year on raw talent. Chester and of course Heard but also Lunsford and Bordelon. I just think those 4 guys will play a key role in the OL with Emery / Campbell moving forward. They almost cracked the starting lineup this year.

I agree that they need to work on the run blocking as an OL but I also think adding some of these guys will automatically have a pretty big impact on how they perform in that area. Not only that but our RB talent will get better as well. When we had Diggs, Jackson or Williams running the ball, they found some big holes to run through. I think those three guys are the best at finding the holes to run through. Holly could also be one of those, I just haven’t seen enough of him to know. He looks damn good as well. Then we have the new guys coming in.

I know this, the 2024 and 2025 offensive class will have some of the best elite skill players in the country in it. If we can get Bryce Underwood in the class with them, this is going to be one helluva offensive class coming together. All we need now is to get these defensive assistant hires right, go load up on defense and we’ll be set up very nicely to make the playoffs in the future. It’s setting up nicely. Gotta finish strong! Let’s get it done BK!

Very odd. A 60% confidence prediction was put in by Zach Berry for Richardson to land at Ole Miss. I do not even remember him visiting.

Ole Miss is going all in, spending money left and right.

Hope we’re all in too, this will be very troubling to lose a sure plug and play top corner and a LA kid.

Just seeing this. I guess all the complaining Lane’s done in the pressers and winning 10 in 21 and 10 this year they’re finally budging some.l

OM is gooing all in on upgrading their D. They picked up 2 highly rated edge rushers, LB Chris Paul, multiple DBs and are trending for Walter Nolen.

Golding can recruit. If he improves as a DC, Ole Miss is going to be a problem.

They already are a problem. Winning 2 of the last 3 and primed for a big run next year.

Ole Miss is pushing all their chips in with a manageable schedule. I don't blame them, but I also don't think LSU should get into a bidding war and overpay for players just because Ole Miss wants them.

Richardson is a good player, but he's not elite.

The issue is, which elite cb do we seem to have any traction with in the portal? If we can't get a LA kid at a huge position of need, and lose him to ole miss, that's a big problem.

Y’all are just going to need to relax until we have a new DC. We are too easy to negative recruit right now with all of the question marks.

We aren’t making moves quick enough for my liking either, but it is what it is.

If he is from LA, LSU wants him, and he is almost a lock to start, yet still chooses Lane and Co. (& more $)--then bye!

He better hope the he doesn't get injured or that the OM money can sustain him for the rest of his life

did 2 years ago.Not 1 o those cats gaf about OM its about the green. They better hope Kiffen does a better job than
JF did building team chemistry.

I will say Ole Miss portal spending is more like FSU last year. Returned majority of offense starters and went heavy in portal after defensive starters from other programs. A&M was majority high school recruits.
