There was suppose to be a "in home" visit this weekend by LSU - not sure if that will still take place.

Hopefully they make an "in hospital" visit if allowed. I know the amount of contact is limited, but I think that would help him out emotionally

This sounds very positive. Wherever he ends up, this kid has my prayers and best wishes. It would be a shame to see a career derailed before it truly got underway.

Very classy move by the Tigers , still offering a spot with the Tigers. I think that shows what kind of program we have.

Praying for a successful procedure and speedy recovery! Classy move by LSU to honor the offer!

More than I hope he becomes a Tiger, I hope that he has a speedy recovery and gets lots of support from family, friends and fans EVERYWHERE (and especially Tiger fans). We should all get behind this kid! He needs our support. Prayers sent!

I also broke both bones tib/fib on my left leg right above the ankle, many years ago in the Bastrop/Ouachita game. It took a full year to heal. I was in a cast 8 weeks and crutches about a month. He will heal, but it will take all year. Playing football is doubtful for August. I would redshirt for 2015.

What idiot went through this thread and downvoted everyone wishing the kid well? Need to make votes viewable...

Can admins can identify that weasel? Then ban his arse for a while.

I was on the Bastrop team, years ago. The Ouachita player that tackled me played for LSU later. I was not good enough.

Hopefully, the down vote was an accident.

My sister saw Coach O in BR private airport this morning... asked him where he was headed and he said Alabama. I'm assuming he's going to see Prince.

That would be awesome. He's supposed to be going see Key today also so I'm guessing he's stopping there first to check-in on him

Couldn't he sit out and sign in 2016 to avoid wasting a yr of eligibility?
Gray shirt may be an option as well?

No, he can't. To get a sixth year he would have to be injured another year.
