That’s not the point I’m making. Why now, when he’s never expressed interest and never discussed the possibility of a visit. It’s last minute and Underwood is committing in a few weeks. Why did it suddenly become appealing to take a visit. I just know personally what Saban will stoop to in order to gain an edge.

The eternal optimists of the recruiting board will say you’re worrying about nothing, but LSU has been burnt by Bama in the last minute on recruits quite a bit.

There's been chatter Underwood will push his commitment date back. Not sure if that's true but if he doesn't, expect LSU to be his choice.

Well in an interview very recently he confirmed that it was gonna be the 6th and it's been like that since last year. So unless Bama makes him move it back, he's locked in on that date

he knows what's going in LSU football recruiting.
He likes NC State alright but having been to games in Tiger Stadium, the ACC in football just isn't all that...

Use your brain. They already have the top QB committed from this cycle and he's considered ready to go now.
Underwood may like Bama but his path towards playing time isn't as easy as LSU.

I understand that. I was just pointing out that Saban objectively does not have the better offensive system or situation to sell today. That doesn’t mean he can’t lean into their many other advantages, but a top QB is usually going to focus on the things that work to our advantage. Hopefully that’s enough.

I agree with that. Plus, the weapons that we will have for any qb are going to be as good or better than any other elite program.
