Not really going to worry about this one. Underwood saw Daniels development into a Heisman Trophy. LSU could have the best recruiting class in the country for 25, and Underwood’s family loves LSU.

Who knows though Patrick Surtain was an LSU lock for 2 years and 48 hours before signing day Tricky Nick pulled a rabbit out of his arse.

They’ve already got Julian Sayin committed for 24. Ain’t no way he’s gonna sit behind Saying for 2-3 years

This. Unless Sayin tells them to frick off at the last second, he’s not going to Bama. QBs aren’t going to stack like that again in the NIL era.

Never count him out. I was so happy Underwood didnt seem to be considering bama for the most part and now last minute visit. Never know what they have up their sleeve.

He's better than Sayin.

Again, he isn’t going there if Sayin commits this year. Period.

Unless Saban tells Sayin to look elsewhere due to Underwood, I agree

Sayin is not equal to Underwood in terms of potential. Even if Underwood was '24, theyd both be riding the bench next year under Milroe. An extra year of practice doesnt discount the elite talent Underwood has.

Another 5 star having a year head start on them in a system is something most of these top QBs aren’t going to deal with on an initial commitment. Michigan and LSU offer far more clear paths to starting.

yeah Saban is bringing in the number one player in the country because he is a perceived LSU lean

QBs are not going to stack in back to back classes with the portal giving them an easy out to move after a year or two whenever they start. They are going to go wherever they have a clear shot to start early. If that doesn’t work out, they will leave.

I guess the good news here is you’ve put yourself in such a good position with McIntyre as well that Bama can’t possibly get both

Don’t see how people disagree with you here

Underwood has said he embraces competition. Hell, Michigan has Davis coming in this year but that’s not the reason he won’t choose them

And in the unlikely outcome that he doesn’t beat out Sayin, he’ll transfer.

Bama signed two 5 star QBs in back to back classes before, then signed jalen hurts the next year who beat them both out. This is pre-portal era.
