The kid is a great kid!!! Know him personally. Unfortunately he is a Sr And she is a Soph in highschool. This is his girlfriend whom he has been dating for awhile. I can promise you his parents have done everything to make sure he stays on the right path, this is just an unfortunate situation.
By the way for that poster, he was named after his daddy who was a beast on the field in his day and a good man today!!

I personally think you dont need to explain any more.
Those that matter wont judge him, and those that judge him, dont matter.
Things like this are great in that, they show you exactly who your friends and family are, and who doesnt have your back.
Be grateful for those who have his back, and screw the rest.

Hold Up! Walker HS had a stud RB back in the mid 90s by that name. Only brutha on that Wildcat team. One of the baddest arse athletes I’ve ever competed against. His thighs made Keiland’s calf’s look like marbles. They ran the ball 98% of the time and he touched the rock 100% of the time.
A college buddy of mine was telling me he didn’t play a down of ball after HS (which was shocking because he was Future NFL Good). He robbed the Popeyes in Walker at gunpoint and was arrested. Robbed it without a mask, which seems pretty dumb when you are the star player on the local towns team. What made it even worse was the fact he used to work at said Popeyes. Don’t know if that is all a myth, but makes for a hella story.
This Udrego seems to at least not have be violent crime gene from pops.

Wrong on so many levels.....
Drego wasn't the only black guy on the team. There weren't many, but he wasn't the only one.
He didn't rob Popeyes at gunpoint. There wasn't even a Popeyes in Walker at that time. He did have gun charges his senior year, which is why he didn't play college ball.
He was never a violent guy.
Drego was a GREAT football player, just like his son is now.
And just FYI, Drego found God and turned his life around several years ago. He is a great husband, father, and friend.

He's thought to be too small for Lsu. I think he did run the fastest time in their camp last year though. 4.3-4.4 something crazy like that so they noticed him. Think his offers were from Arizona state, Memphis, southern miss, ULL. A few schools like that. Not sure the latest.

They said the guy that got shot by the police the other night was a great guy too! Then we find out he is responsible for burns on over 20% of his daughters body. What a great guy! You don't know if these people are great Christian people unless you spend 24 hours a day with them. You don't think kids F-Up when the parents aren't around?

Hey jackass! I've spent plenty of time with the guy. We've been friends for 30 years. He is as loyal a friend as they come.
Like I said before, he has f'ed up, but he has turned his life around 180 degrees and I don't believe he will ever go back to that life.
And his son is a great kid too. Respectful, grateful, courteous, and a good student. I doubt you will find anyone in Livingston Parish that will say a negative word about him.
So why don't you stop with your stereotyping and judging. I'm sure you aren't flawless!
