Lsu has had multiple athletes sign shoe deals with brands other than Nike to include Adidas and Puma,
I remember Stromile signing with Adidas in High School.

Just a reminder, that HVL was at a Nike school (both LSU and TCU) and signed a deal with Adidas. It doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Lsu being a nike school has nothing to do with it tho.

Went all in on Keys and pushed Feaster away just to have Keys sign elsewhere. Big swing. Big miss. Transfer portal it is.

Different sport, but Cooper Flagg did this with New Balance, Duke is a Nike school. I don't think it has as much relevance as you think, but it could.

He’s already playing the social media games, it is a wrap

He says that Tennessee and Alabama are coming on the strongest.
His side knows what they’re doing with the NIL and getting the bag only thing I can say is we get the last visit for now.

Not worth fretting over IMO.

Honestly if Keys goes to Miami then I don't want him.
Not even an sec school. Miami is going crazy with the money this yr
I did warn people about Miami and keys.
I actually think feaster is just as good. Sucks that he is locked in with Bama now.

They even had the mom there with adidas shite on. Maybe just a coincidence

Either way is lsu not stepping up to the plate with nil again? Probably an overpay but who knows.

His loss. Seems like kids that shop around like this in high school usually end up shopping around once they’re in college too. I’ll be shocked if he stays at one school for three years.

Given that we are a Nike school, hard not to view this as not so great news.
LSU has had Reese, Flaujae, and Van Lith that all had non- Nike shoe deals while at LSU

If this is true then it’s a wrap. On to the next kid. According to some NIL is a good thing. Please, nil is the worse thing to happen to college sports.
