Curious in the NIL era, how does that work for a player to sign with another brand when they wear a competitor brand on Saturdays?

You will get your answer when he flips to an Adidas school

Visiting them this weekend. Don't see him ending up their over Miami, Adidas wise.

I mean I suppose it doesn't really matter if he signs with Adidas because it's NIL and doesn't mean on the field.

It's just the highs and lows of weekend visits. This entire month is going to be back and forth then we will have some commits/decommits and wait until ESD.

If he stays with LSU, he wears Nike products. I’m sure equipment contracts are heading towards similar deals like the NFL. Players will wear Nike uniforms, but can wear their sponsored gloves and cleats in LSU colorways.

Its a little weird isnt it? I mean obviously his Adidas deal is away from the field but it would be a bit unusual to have this face of Adidas branding, most prominently featured during games wearing Nike gear. Seems like a red flag for our chances here.

Anyone that doesn't believe that Adidas has...strongly advised him to go to an Adidas school in return, you are nuts

Flau’jae is signed to Puma right now. She can post whatever she wants in Puma gear, but still has to wear Nike. I know it’s an apples to oranges comparison.

Tennessee is going to Adidas, Auburn is going to Nike and I’ve hear Bama could be going to Jordan.

Payton Houston and boobie Feaster.

It just sucks that feaster us pretty much locked in with bama now. Kid is elite. Lsu better come away with keys or feaster. They are both similar players skills wise.

You obviously don't know how this shite works.

Chris Henry Jr and their other receiver commit just signed with addidas. Is Ohio state an adidas school?

And this doesn't mean keys won't flip but this Adidas deal is normal for the #1 receiver.

If Keys ultimately attends LSU, he won't be able to wear adidas cleats on-field for the Tigers - who are sponsored by Nike - but can support the brand via social media and additional off-the-field marketing opportunities.

Keys is the newest signing for adidas, who counts fellow top receiver recruits Chris Henry Jr. and Kayden Dixon-Wyatt as NIL endorsers. The German-based sports brand recently signed Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola and top NFL Draft picks Travis Hunter - who joined the brand ahead of winning the 2024 Heisman Trophy - Abdul Carter, Jalon Walker, Shemar Stewart and Emeka Egbuka, among others to their roster.

It’s a nonstarter. He can’t wear any Addis if he comes here. If he doesn’t get out of the deal he can’t play here.
