Don't really get why we aren't going harder after some of these portal players. Especially at positions of need.
Still working on keeping the roster to 85?

How the hell do they have room for anyone else? I was not under the impression that they were losing a lot of players from last season anyway.

yeah I don't get it. Huge position of need for LSU and a Louisiana native who presumably had his top 2 as Bama and LSU.

Hate to break it to them but this won’t turn out well. Only so many kids can get on the field at one time. Paying 7 kids to play 3 spots is a bold move.

Ole Miss is going all in for 2024. We are saving our cash to go all in for 2025. Here me out. In 2024, returning QBs are:
Ole Miss - Dart
Texas - Ewers
Georgia - Beck
LSU is breaking in a new QB and rebuilding an awful defense, but in 2025 LSU will be primed for a championship. All of the above QBs probably leave and, fingers crossed, Nuss is back for a 5th year. The defense is rebuilt. Go hard in the portal and LSU could be the top dog in the SEC in 2025.

LSU is trying. IF he doesn't commit to the Rebs and visits BR, I'd say the Tigers have a real chance. but that's a big "if" right now.
Amos is a good player at a position of need but there's other CBs just as good if not better out there.

The problem with ole miss is they’re going all in on next year and overpaying mercenaries because they think the stars have aligned and they’ll get hardware out of it. Kiffin is building for short term.
Kelly is not willing to blow LSUs wad on next year by overpaying short term rental mercenaries.
It is what it is at this point. The more they spend the funnier it’s gonna be when they don’t win a damn thing.

Portal players haven’t really worked out for us year one it’s usually not until year two that we see them making strides in our system. Thinking we can get a portal player and win a chip that year well it’s not what we have seen so far.
