John Camden, a 6-8 wing forward from Memphis, has apparently visited LSU and we are pursuing. He only played in one game last year before suffering a foot injury and redshirting.
Camden will be a redshirt freshman next year.

Yes a friend from Memphis told me a couple weeks ago Camden was a hidden gem and that Topper was working him for LSU as soon as he left.

Yuri Collins from St Louis is in the portal now. IMO one of the elite pass first PGs in the country. Looks like he may be going to Tennessee though.

What the frick happened to that guy? I remember when he was like a sophomore in high school, he was talked about as the next sure thing franchise changing superstar.
By the time he was a senior, it just seemed like he wasn’t a good basketball player. He won’t even make it to the NBA at this rate. Again, he was supposed to be the next Kevin Durant/LeBron James type superstar.

He went to a college with a coach who would be better off coaching AAU ball.
I do think Bates let that early attention get to his head a little bit as well, but the talent is still definitely there, you just need the right coaches to tap into it and maybe this past season was a wake-up call to him

Considering how Bates' college experience is going so far I'll be surprised if he picks another school over the G League Ignite.
