You have to have the players to beat them so every time we lose kids to them it not only hurts us, but it helps them. We can't keep conceding the best players to them and expect to beat them.

losing moses and allen hurts but surely those 2 guys dont decide the next 3-4 years between lsu/bama.
according to the board, we have produced the most nfl players and better LB talent recently. so cant use both excuses. just win the game.

Exactly. Saban puts on his poker face and convinces these kids the best thing they can do for their future is picking them. In actuality he's only out to make things easier for himself because LSU is bama's stiffest competition.

Do y'all really not think it is a better career decision to play for Nick Saban than Orgeron? Really?
If his ambition is business after school/beyond his potential professional career, it would be a much better decision to go to LSU.
It is always a better idea to go to school in the state you plan to do business in, that is common sense.
I can see how he was convinced that the other alternative is smarter, but he is a kid, and is naive. If his main concern is success after college, going to school in your home state, where you already have connections is a much wiser decision.
Additionally, if his motive is success as a professional football player, at the moment I think it could be easily argued going to LSU is the wiser decision, strictly based on depth concerns.
I know you are just trying to relay what you know, but it is kind of crazy what sort of head games these schools play with these kids. If that is truly how he was pitched and convinced, he was downright tricked.
Alabama is so good on defense, they even play defense with recruiting. They would just assume sign every player that their opponents target and let them sink or swim when it comes to getting playing time. I don't know if any other school that could afford to use one scholarship like that, yet bama seems to have made a business out of it.

We should counter with Bama fan crimes after they lose

At the moment Alabama has the best coach in CFB history who is in the midst of one of the greatest runs in the sport's history, and LSU has a coach with no track record of success in producing consistently successful teams or preparing players for successful NFL careers.
Alabama also has superior facilities and a larger support staff.
I would agree that "all thing being equal" staying home is the wise choice. Right now they aren't actually close to equal though.
Once Orgeron has some skins on the wall, it'll be a different conversation.
Not to mention that "home state" advantage in post-career really only comes into play if you end up washing out. Successful NFL payers are favored sons in their hometowns no matter where they went to school. In that scenario expanding your base to another state via school choice would probably pay off. None of these recruits count on flaming out, and they shouldn't.

Lsu needs to come back with.....
How the Alabama people blocked the school house doors and the Alabama police sprayed all people with color with waterhoses
A lot of black folks i know still don't like Alabama for the crimes they committed years ago. The reason why they go to bama now is the boosters shove the money in their faces to get them outta the small rural town or the ghetto and they can't resist....sad but true

Saban is a pos and dirty as hell. No one has that much success without being shady. Plus in Tuscaloosa, who wants to rob a trailer?

Let's just say I won't encourage my kids to attend LSU because of this very reason. Hopefully things change in the next 10 years.

Despite there being statistically zero difference between your NFL prospects at LSU and Bama (especially if you're a defender)? You sure something else isn't going on here?

Go read the story on Guice and it doesn't take much to see that "I gotta do whatever to get out of these dangerous streets" mindset could start with their college career and not the NFL.
Who else in the past had this same mentality..
I know the auburn juco wr having similar issues

Saban just gave me one more reason to hate that little lying bastard and Alabama. What a pos. Frick Saban.

There is no doubt in my mind that Saban and Alabama get away with a lot. I hope I live to see the day when it's exposed.

Hell, just two or three years ago the U. of Alabama sororities were exposed as being racist as shite. They were still acting like it was the fifties.

Every city in the US is dangerous for the same reason...and everybody knows why, even Jesse Jackson...but few have the balls to speak of the hard cold facts...all one has to do is check the FBI stats...that shows the reality of it all...I could quote some very scary stats from New Orleans a few years ago...but the little snow flakes might melt...lol

Birmingham in back yard is 3 Rd highest and Tuscaloosa though smaller has a ton of crime. Lots of Rape around campus. But that may be the case at every major large college now a days. To me that is a new low for Nick Saban and company. Maybe he should know he'll sit on the bench as 5th string until a jr or sr.

Oh really? lol
Which school has more players in the NFL than Alabama? That would be LSU. Good luck being a successful businessman in another state, because he will not be welcomed back in Louisiana.
