Something is not adding up. Strange to go from both Tech and Tenner guys saying Sorsby and Coleman both are headed to LSU to two hours potentially the opposite

Yeah we need more info on the QB specifically.
Coleman would be awesome to have, but Baker can manufacturer a pass rush. Lane is an elite play caller, but he can’t manufacture the forward pass without a QB. Lol.

There is just too many desperate teams out there that’s willing to heavily overspend for the best players. LSU is going to have to get stupid with their spending to get these top players I guess. It’s prob going to take nearly $10 million to get Sorsby or Leavitt.

This has been a big part of why we can’t stop running QB’s fyi. One of these days we will need a real edge rusher so our linebackers and safeties can do other important stuff.

Aside from QB & OL, where do you spend the enormous budget we have? Already showing at WR, but where else?
Has to be EDGE. Think about it. He’s our only EDGE target, haven’t heard a peep about any LBs, haven’t heard a peep about TE.
The CBs and Safeties we are targeting won’t cost you millions upon millions of dollars.
Lane has to make a splash in portal for his pride’s sake. It’ll be at QB & one other position. Still confident it’s Chaz.
$25 million budget plus rev share allocation minus $5ish million to QB signee. Chaz will take his visits and entertain the offer but Lane Kiffin will not let him slip away.

This was my issue all along. Indiana, Oklahoma st, Texas Tech, Kentucky etc. weren't even in the mix two years ago, its going to water down the pool, theres not enough elite top end talent to do what Ol miss and Texas tech and even what we did on defense last year with the NIL stuff being spread out now. Lanes killing it in high school recruiting and that may still be the overall answer to building rosters.

In a year with a solid roster that’s already mostly covered, an overpay or two wouldn’t be an issue. We are replacing the majority of the offense. That’s a lot different.
