Never got why Dixon resisted the TE move so much

...maybe ever.

We'll have to wait and see. The potential is there though.

Pretty sue after ainsworths gpaw died his heart really wasnt in it. He still goes to LSU he just doesnt play football.

What ever did happen to Lowe?

Some people rag on miles for lack of oline depth, but seriously look at saban's classes. 2001 is the only one that stands out as far as olinemen go. 2002, 2004, 2005 were not good years, numbers wise.

I think ainsworth's issues were more to do with him getting here and realizing how far out oc his league he was, that and a few other off the field issues...

Ainsworth left the team before this past season started. I remember that it seemed amicable at the time.

Family related issues as I recall.

I would say 2001
Nate Livings (signed but wasn't academically eligible)
Rudy Niswanger
Andrew Whitworth
Ben Wilkerson
Edit: That entire class was great it set the foundation for the national title team.

And all four made it to the next level for a time. I'd agree that's the one to use as a benchmark.

2001 was best OL class over past decade...we can hope this group is as good.

This may be best overall class since 2001 as well.

even as a Bama fan I can admit was one of the best cfb OL that I can think of and as good as Bama in 08-09 were I believe that group was considerably better.

Edit: That entire class was great it was the most important and significant class in the history of LSU led by a couple of locals, Clayton and Spears

It would be if they were all here at the same time. There was a decade between some of those guys.

I'm pretty sure whoever posted these guys was just pointing out some all-time greats.
