OL Coaching & blocking techniques never translated to the field…it was terribly obvious over & over.

Maybe keep some of these OL guys who have true work ethic + athleticism. School & work them hard in offseason.

Playing O Line is all about working on technique and fundamentals then knowing the playbook. Group unity is needed so attitude also matters greatly. As long as these athletes are working hard in the strength and conditioning program and pairing that with working hard at practice then any of these guys can become good players

Both lines are physically weak and it is obvious.

Spoke to one of the better lineman that everyone is wanting to stay here at lsu, last night at the game. He told me point blank they would love to stay at lsu but at this point it’s not up to them and hope lsu wants them back.

If this is true, they have their portal adds lined up.

by BrianKellysbuyoutWith that many leaving, i'm thinking that they were told that competition was coming or they were told they were getting pay cuts. That many didn't jist decide to hit the portal on their own. Not with the season they've had.

They all have agents in their ear telling them to get in the portal and use that as leverage. They may be welcome to stay, but the money isn’t big and their agent is telling them they are worth more.

They have to go to get $ and a potential starting role. I am hoping Lane won't tolerate the level of play they generated this year. It was pathetic. They dont deserve to start next year at LSU

Most of this is crap coaching and roster mismanagement. BK and Co. did a horrible job. These guys are victims of a bad program. Most of our guys came out of HS 40 to 70 places higher on the ranking scale than the UH starting OL.. UH OL position rankings are anywhere from 91 to 152. They might have 1 guy that is a ESPN 250. And they played twice as good as we did.

Believe what you want but it was a dad of a starting lineman last night.

Their OL was much older and mature than our OL. They had RS seniors and juniors.

I do agree that they were better coached, but just looking at HS rankings to determine worth I’d fool’s gold.
