I'd clearly say Dak more than Collins. Our safeties have been pretty good and our pass defense was better than Bama's. Collins wouldn't have changed things, but Dak could have made a huge difference.

The one that gives us the better record recently is clearly Gunner Kiel.
And I just don't get why people are still hung up on Cam Robinson. Bama puts OL in the league, its all there is to it.
Going to see the same thing with Arky as long as Bielema is there, just on a smaller scale.

My kid went to school at Ouachita with him before he came here to Texas. He told me that Cam was swagged out in LSU gear damn near everyday their fr and soph more years. What a big difference that championship game made.

That championship game had nothing to do with it. He went silent to Bama in the summer. Same as Landon Collins. June camp at Bama is when both went silent to Bama.
Bama recruiting is pretty easy to follow if you pay attention. Just watch the confidence of their insiders. The good ones don't sugarcoat. If they are ultra confident when there appears to be no reason, bank that they know something the rest of us don't. They were incredibly confident with both of those kids. Defiantly confident and were right because they knew the deal while everyone else was guessing. Willie Allen is starting to follow this trend as well. Still time but we are way behind
